I
took these images at about 7pm on an August evening. When i first arrived
to the launch site at about 3.30pm it was packed full of tourists everywhere.
There was so many people that when i drove down with the car, i couldn't
turn it around. So we left and took images of the Surprise view and returned
to find it a little quieter. Even when these images were taken there was
cars and people around. If you look carefully you will see on the back wall
behind me there is duplicated patches where we cut out the vehicles parked
up and if you look really carefully you can see where people have been stood
on the beach and deleted. And the largest thing manipulated from this image
is my shadow, it stretched almost touching the wall behind me. I probably
could have spent much more time on this, but i didn't as we took over 11000
images that weekend on 8 x 256mb cards, that's a lot of stitching.
