University of Sunderland
The university is one of the north east's if not UK's most up and coming universities. With a £15 million pound new building being built as I type at the St Peters Campus, resituating the Education, Art and Media departments.
Over the other side of the river is the Panns bank and Scotia quay accommodation blocks, with permanent internet connections, in room fridges and independent heating, without dowt some of the best student homes in the UK.
