We have also produced a little mini website for the Mowbray Gardens. It was produced at the end of 2000 and some of the virtual tours were produced during the winter.
The development was to show different interactions with users and the web, so there are little things for children to play with.

A striking new landmark in the heart of the city centre, Sunderland Winter Gardens is the jewel in the crown of the £13 million Mowbray Gardens development. Special Historical and Botanical Tours of the park operate during the summer
There is a memorial statue erected in the park, this is to commemorate the death of about 200 children in a horrible accident almost exactly a century ago.
