Government has fully demonstrated its commitment to LPG with sweeping cuts
in LPG fuel duty. In March 1999 duty was reduced by 29%. This was dwarfed by the 40% cut which was announced in 2001. It means duty on LPG is now a measly 4.5ppl. While duty on petrol is currently running at almost 50ppl. PPL = Pence Per Litre |
